RUN OVER BY CAR

BOY SERIOUSLY INJURED ACCIDENT AT KAITAIA (From Our Own Correspondent) KAITAIA, Today. An Awanui schoolboy, Samuel Sharp, aged seven years, was run over by a motor-car owned by the North Auckland Farmers' Co-opera-tive Company, and driven by the firm’s employee, VV. N. Perkins, last evening. Medical attention was given by Dr. Strack Torrie, and the boy was sent to hospital at Kaitaia. It was ascertained that he had received head injuries and a broken collarbone, and severe injuries to the right leg.
