Ford, of Gummer and Ford, Returned from Wellington this morning by the Limited. Mr. M. H. Wynyard, chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board, was a passenger for Wellington by train last evening. Major S. C. P. Nicholls, D.H.0., and >lajor W. I. K. Jennings, D. 5.0., arrived at Frankton Junction this morning by the Limited. His Honour Mr. Justice Biair and the Inther members of the Arbitration Court, arrived in Auckland by the Limited this morning. Mr. W. Goodfellow, managing director of the New Zealand Co-operative pairy Company, is in Hamilton for the annual meeting of suppliers. Mr. H. H. Sterling, general maninger of New Zealand Railways, visited Hamilton for the annual dinner of suppliers’ committees of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, last evening. Mr. M. Simmonds, deputy-registrar of the Hamilton Supreme Court, has been appointed clerk of court at Tauvanga. Mr. Simmonds has been in Hamilton for about six and a-half years. He will be succeeded by Mr. P. D. Leahy, clerk of the court at Waimate. Mr. Elmer G. Pauly, former trade commissioner for the United States of America, has left Auckland for Wellington and t’fie South Island, where he will make an economic survey for the group of prominent American organisations which he represents.
