BRIDGE AFTERNOON BY VICTORIA LEAGUE EVER-READY COMMITTEE The Rev. Jasper Calder’s forthcoming “Better Times” Bazaar should benefit considerably from the enjoyable bridge afternoon held by the ever-read- committee of the Victoria League in the league rooms yesterday afternoon. The rooms looked very charming with palms and vases of gay Iceland poppies. Mrs. Morrah won the first prize, Miss Murray the prize for the hidden number, and Mrs. Campbell the consolation prize.
