AUCKLAND INSTITUTE

LECTURES TOMORROW AND THURSDAY Tomorrow evening, Dr. T. .T. Hughes will deliver a lecture in the University College Hall on “How To Prevent Disease,” under the auspices of the Auckland Institute. Ho will describe the various means whereby disease is spread, and will tell of the preventive measures which individuals, as well as public health bodies should take to keep free from epidemics. The lecture, which will be illustrated by slides, is open to the public. On Thursday evening also there will be an illustrated lecture in the same hall by Mr. W. W. Thorpe, ethnologist to the* Australian Museum. The subject will be “The Australian Aborigines.”
