BROOME EARTH TREMOR
LASTED TWO MINUTES, BUT NO DAMAGE DONE ’QUAKE RECORDED AT PERTH Reed. 10 a.m. PERTH, Today. An earth tremor lasting two minutes was felt at Broome on Saturday. Houses shook and windows rattled. No damage is reported. The seismograph at Perth recorded a fairly severe earthquake, which probably occurred in the ocean bed off the north-west coast, about 1,100 miles from Perth.
