BUSH FIRES AT KAIKOURA
BUILDINGS IN DANGER Press Association WELLINGTON, Sunday. The Acting-Secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department has been advised as follows by the chief post master, Christchurch: "The postmaster at Kaikoura reports extensive bush fires in the Puhipulii Valley, 14 miles north of Kaikoura. A sawmill and six or seven settlers' homesteads are in danger.’’
