TIVOLI AND EVERYBODY’S

“ADAM’S APPLE” A racy story of honeymoons and mothers-in-law is revealed in the amusing film, “Adam’s Apple,” now at the Tivoli and Everybody’s Theatres. A new English actress, Gillian Dean, is the star, and appears with Monty Banks. Monty and Kitty are planning their honeymoon. The bridegroom describes on a map bis ideas for a triumphant descent upon Europe. London, Paris they will be feted everywhere. But Montv’s mother-in-law-to-be has other and more gallant suggestions to make in reference to the disposal of her prospective son-in-law’s savings. She sees a glorious suite of furniture, and has this in her mind. However. Monty is adamant, and insists upon going abroad. The wedding takes place, and then the honeymoon, but poor Monty, who wanted his little wife to himself, is burdened with an irate mother-in-law, who is determined to accompany her daughter as a chaperone, although she is married. Excellent supporting pictures are also shown, of which the chief is “The Whirl of Life,” a thrilling circus and aerial artists’ story. Pay Malten and Henry George have the leading roles.

“The Woman From Luna" is the first directorial effort of A. F. Erickson for Fox Films. He is a protege of F. W Murnau. with whom he functioned as’first assistant during the filming of “Four Devils." Mary Astor features In • The Woman From Luna.”
