TILDEN FOR THE STAGE
HAS TAKEN UP ACTING AS PROFESSION MAKES DEBUT IN FARCE (United Service) Reed. 9.10 a.m. LONDON, Friday. The American tennis player, William T. Tilden, will appear on the London stage. The “Daily Mail" says he will have a leading part in a farcical comedy that is being produced iu October, and adds that Tilden has definitely taken up acting as a profession.
