A TRIBUTE

The following message expressing appreciation of the work of the Plunket Society has been sent to The Sun by Dr. J. S. Elliott, of Wellington, President of the New Zealand Branch of the British Medical Association: — The Plunket Society is the pioneer society in the world to bring the principles of infant feeding and hygiene into home life by precept, example and regular supervision. It proves that, in every health campaign, lay effort, supplementing professional guidance, is essential. The society has also upheld the privilege, dignity, sanctity and nobility of Motherhood. The care of the mother and infant nurture are the cradle of national health and wealth. J. S. ELLIOTT , M.D.
