MORRINSVILLE HOCKEY

The Morrinsville Hockey Club team has been declared winner of the Piako Association’s championship. The team went through the season without loss, winning seven games and drawing onel Te Aroha was runner-up with four wins, two draws and two losses, and Matamata third with four wins and four losses. The other teams competing were Waitoa and Knox. The women’s championship was won by Te Aroha with five wins and one loss, with Morrinsville runner-up with three wins, two losses and a draw.
