MILK PRICES DOWN
CHANGE THIS MONTH Under an announcement by the Auckland Milk Vendors’ Association, tho spring reduction in the price of milk and cream will take effect from Saturday* August 31. Bottled milk is to be reduced from 7d to 6*d. and can-delivered milk from 61d to 6d. Cream in cartons will sell at new retail prices of 7d, Is 2d, and 2s 4d for the three sizes. The wholesale price will be 14s a gallon. The reduction in spring is a result of increased supplies.
