ZEPPELIN OVER RUSSIA
FLYING FROM GERMANY TO JAPAN PASSES URALSK DISTRICT (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) Reed. 11 a.m. MOSCOW, Friday. The Graf Zeppelin, which is in flight from Germany to Japan, crossed Lithuania last evening. The commander of the airship. Dr. Eckener, asked permission to change the itinerary, which the Soviet agreed to, owing to the unfavourable weather. The Soviet authorities replied that a visit to Moscow was desirable, but they left it to Dr. Eckener to exercise his discretion. The Zeppelin today passed over the Uralsk district.
