The Whangarel High School held its annual cross-country events over a course of approximately tour miles for the seniors,, and two miles for the juniors, yesterday. Results: Seniors. —K. King! lm, 1; A. Logan, 3m, 3; H. Kirklan. 3m, 3. Time, 33m 28 2-ss. Fastest times were gained by K. King. 30m 58 2-ss; Dickson (handicap 30s), 31m 20 2-ss; W. Mullins (scr), 31m 31 2-ss. Juniors. —D. Brooks, 90s, 1: M. Green, 90s, 2: H. Dodds, 60s, 3. Time, 18m 465. Fastest time was gained by D. Durham, 18m 14s.
