KORO PETER’S TRIPLE CROWN
ADDINGTON TROTTING FINALS FAST TIMES AGAIN THE ORDER THE New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club’s National fixture was concluded today in fine weather and before a large attendance. The track was again in splendid order, and fast times were recorded. Padlock was again the star performer, winning the National Handicap in great style. This made his third successive win at the meeting, a performance that stamps him as one of the best pacers ever produced in the Dominion. The young trotter, Koro Peter, owned by the Auckland sportsman, Mr. G. McMillan, also covered himself with glory by winning the Midwinter Handicap, making his total three for the fixture. Chef won the mile saddle in particularly smart time, and Wilma Dillon accounted for the Federal Handicap from Zenith and the consistent Dilworth.
