KILLED ON WHARF
KNOCKED DOWN BY TRUCKS AGED WORKMAN’S DEATH Press Association WELLINGTON, Thursday. A waterside worker, Andrew Archibald, aged 77 years, was run over this morning and killed instantly by a rake
of trucks on the Railway Wharf. Several trucks were being shunted to No. 3 berth of the Railway Wharf, where they struck some stationary trucks and set them in motion. Arcn?bald, who was behind these other trucks, apparently was knocked down The wheels passed over his chest. The unfortunate man, who was married, lived at No. 33 Coromandel Street.
