CENSURE MOTION MOVED
AUSTRALIAN PARLIAMENT IN SESSION ACRIMONY EXPECTED Reed. 9 a.m. CANBERRA, Today. The Federal Parliament’s session was opened yesterday. The proceedings are expected to be acrimonious because of the intention of the Prime Minister, Mr. Bruce, to abolish the Federal Arbitration Court. A victory for the Government, however, is assured. Mr. E. G. Theodore (Labour) moved a censure motion, complaining of the Government’s action in withdrawing the prosecution against Mr. John Brown, colliery proprietory, who was alleged to have locked out miners. The House was immediately adjourned. Senator Walter Klngsmill, of Western Australia, was elected President of the Senate, with opposition.
