PLEASING REVUE
FRANK O’BRIAN SUCCESSES New music by “Tiny” Douglas’s stage band in Frank O’Brian'e revue at St. James’ Theatre scored another success with the audience last evening. Apart from a bright programme of dance numbers, the band gave an original interpretation of “The Bells of St. Mary’s.” Frank O’Brian has a big fund of wit in his current production, and he deems likely to gain outstanding popularity in his remaining turns. With him, Janice Hart ddnees and sings cleverly Her items in the present programme are especially acceptable. The dancing of the Flapper Ballet continues to attract. The excellentlyfrocked girls have given Auckland novel dances, and their main show at present is “The Dance of All Nations." Difficult steps are made cleverly, and the number is "well arranged. Besides abundant dancing and singing, there are several prominent sketches, providing Frank O’Brian, Miss Hart and other leading members of the company, with opportunities for fresh humour.
