HUGE NEW YORK BUILDING TO BE ERECTED (Australian and .\'.Z. l’rcss Association) NEW YORK. Tuesday. Negotiations for the erection of a building of 55 storeys in New York, at. a cost of $310,000,000, have been concluded by the French Government. " The structure will be called Le Palais de France, and will serve as the French cultural, industrial and commercial centre for America. It will be one of the largest buildings in the world, and will cover a city square.
