CONSCIENTIOUS OBJECTORS The subject of conscientious objectors is closed as far as the Auckland Presbytery is concerned. There was an unfinished debate on the subject. at the July meeting of. the preshytery, but the Rev. Lawson Marsh, whose motion was to come up again. stated yesterday that those chiefly concerned had conferred in the interval and come to the conclusion that no good cause would be served by further pursuing the motion. He therelore moved that the presbyc tery pass on to the next business. The Rev. D. C. Herron seconded the motion, which was passed without discussion. 1
