The ‘W'ellington unlnteur boxing championship tourney was concluded tonight, when smug promising form was witnessed in the semivfinals and finals. Results were:— Paper—weight.——Final: F. VVard beat G. Isaacs. Fly-weights—Final: K. VVebb beat L. C. Higgs. Bantani-weights. —— Semi-finals: C. Woods beat N. Hanson; H. Knopp beat XV. Parris. Final: Knopp beat Woods. Feather-weights.—Final: C. I-los—-kyn beat F. Keith. Light—weights. Semi-final: G. Thomas beat J. Jackson. Final]: G. Thomas beat H. Thomas. The judges disagreed in this bout and the referee. Mr. Earl Stewart, gave hi2} decision for G. Thomas. The verdict was ironically received and it was announced immediately that both brothers would be sent to the New Zealand chumpionship tourney. _ - VVeltor-woightan—Semi—finul: P. J.
