VAIN CRAWL FOR HELP RABBIT SHOOTING FATALITY Press Association MARTON, Today. A shooting fatility occurred near Hunterville on Saturday afternoon. John Robb, 23, a single farmhand, accidentally shooting himself with a pea-rifle. When climbing a fence in search of rabbits the rifle went off, Robb being shockingly wounded in the abdomen. Despite this, lie crawled back to the whare that he shared with Mr. Smith, the' schoolmaster at Rataiti. but Mr. Smith was absent in Hunterville The latter returned some hours later and found Robb, who was hurried to the hospital, but died on Sunday morning.
