ORPHANS’ CLUB MEETING Tho official visitors at the Xorthcote and Birkenhead Orphans’ Club meeting on Saturday were the president, vice-president, and several members of the Otahuhu Orphans’ Club. Mr. T. T. Garland, secretary of the Auckland Savage Club, presided over a record attendance, and on behalf of the club extended a hearty welcome to the official visitors. A first-class programme was provided, as follows:—Club orchestra, overtures; banjo solos, Bro. G. Me* Keown; songs, Bro. F. Raisher; humour, Bro. James O’Kane; song, Mr. T. T. Garland; humorous songs, Bro. A. Austen.
