POWER BOARD MEETS
WAITEMATA PROGRESS "A meeting o£ tlie Waitemata Elec-tric-Power Board was held this morning. Mr. J. W. Hayden was in the chair. The gross sales o£ current for the month of July amounted to £5,396 12s 2d, compared with £4,588 15s 3d for the corresponding month last year, an increase of £507 16s lid. The total sales of current for the four months ended July 31, 1929, were £23,500 0s Id, as against £20,04S 4s 7d for the corresponding period last year, an increase of £3,751 15s 6d. Showroom sales for the month amounted to £441. A discussion was held in connection with the proposed reticulation of Waikoukou Valley,* as to whether the work should be done with or without a guarantee. The required requisitions have already been for approxi mately the amount required.
