Tlie executive of the Tauranga Winter Exhibition Committee met on Wednesday evening. It was stated that the credit balance from the show is £ll7 11s 7d. It is intended to form a Winter Exhibition Association, and the Borough Council is to be approached for a site on which to build an up-to-date show building. * • * The building trade is fairly busy in Tauranga at present. There is a large concrete piqture hall, two-storey concrete store; and a number of private residences in course of erection. » * * The annual meeting of the Katikati Co-operative Dairy Company was held this week. The position as disclosed by the annual report was exceedingly gratifying. Ninety-one per cent, of the suppliers had graded superfine. The turnover had exceeded £60,000 for the year. The chairman, Mr. Marshall, stated it was satisfactory to know that the company was in a thoroughly sound financial position. The output for the year was 387 tons, being an increase of 3 3,3 991 b. on the previous year. Including the bonuses the total payout was Is 6d a lb butter-fat. The grading for the output for the season was 91.34, a very high average. Mr. W. Turner topped the list as the biggest supplier.
