BEBE DANIELS CHOSEN FOR LEAD IN TALKIE VERSION OF “RIO RITA”
Bebe Daniels will play the feminine lead in “Rio Rita,”
when the Zeig f e I d musical comedy success is produced on the screen by Radio Pictures. John Boles will be seen in the hero’s role, having received his
second operetta lead while his first, the Red Shadow part in Warners’ “The Desert Song,” is still being viewed. The assignment of Miss Daniels was a news item of first importance in Hollywood. Her voice Is said to record perfectly and she has been taking singing lessons.
