Sheffield Shield Cricket
The Sheffield Shield season in Aus-% tralia opens on November 8 with the Queensland-New South Wales match at Brisbane, while the English team for New Zealand will play three games, beginning at Adelaide on November 1, with matches at Melbourne and Sydney starting on November S and 15 (according to an Australian writer). There is to be an Australia v. Rest game in Sydney from December 6 to 11. Westralia is to come as far as Melbourne only, playing there and in Adelaide in January.
