NEW WAY OF PRESENTING RETURNS British Official Wireless Reed. 11 a.m. RUGBY, Thursday. The Ministry of Labour is now issuing returns regarding unemployment on a new basis, side by side with the figures of the unemployed, it gives the number of persons registered as em ployed. The returns now issued show that, while in the past year unemployment figures have decreased by 150,871, the employment figures hava increased by 272,800. This new presentation of the facts gives a much trner picture of the unemployment position. In given cases it might conceivably show that while there was an increase in tho number of unemployed, there was actually an increase in the number of employed.
