The survivor Mill meet the winning club in the V ellington area to decide the North Island winner. The visitors are spoken ot as a lively team of young players who expect to make Trams travel at top to win. The curtain-raiser Mill be a championship match between the leaders in the senior B competition— Philomel and Manurewa.
Owing to continued rains it has been decided to give Blandford Park a spell, and the Auckland provincial final for the Chatham Cup will be played on No. 1 ground, Victoria Park, which has been drying out well with the change in the weather, and should be in good order if no further rain falls. The local champion club. Tramways, is keen on adding the national club trophy to its collection of scalps, and is one of the best all-round teams which has carried the banner for Auckland in recent years, containing, as it does, six Auckland representatives among its 11 players. The form of the Gisborne Thistle is an unknown quantity here, but Mr. James McDonald,' the enthusiastic manager, states that his lively colts are undismayed by the reputation of our champions, which has reached even Gisborne. It has struck no terror in the hearts of the intrepid challengers, who have travelled so far to throw down the gauntlet. All other senior games are postponed, except that Y.M.C.A. and Belmont will play off the remaining championship game at Devonport. but the result can have no bearing on the position of the clubs.

Carlton A remains unbeaten in the sixth grade A. and probably will be called on to play off for the grade championship against Tamaki as the likely winner of the sixth grade B.
