Two Nationals and Cup Grand National Steeplechase and Winter Cup (run on tbe opening day) and the Grand National Hurdles (run on the second day) comprise the popular treble that at the present time is intriguing early speckers These are the leading contests at the Canterbury Jockey Club’s winter meeting at Riccarton on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. August 13, 15 and 17.
