A small percentage of sales was made today at sales of property in the City and suburbs. Three properties were withdrawn from sale by Palethorpe and Parkes after fair bidding. For a seven-roomed house on a large section on the; Ponsonby waterside, £1,050 was reached, and for a four-roomed cottage with a 33ft frontage at the lower end of St. George’s Bay Road, Parnell, £3,025 was the last price offered. The third offering was of a villa residence at Stanley Bay. A house at the corner of Summer and Oliphant Streets. Ponsonby. offered for sale under order of the mortgagee by W. A Horne, Ltd., this morning, was bought in by the Crown fur £6OO.
