BRIDE-ELECT HONOURED
MANY GIFTS FOR MISS G. LEECH A very enjoyable evening was spent oil Saturday when the office staff of the Colonial Ammunition Company' entertained friends at a kitchen evening held in honour of the approaching marriage of one of the staff, Aliss G. Leech. The hall and supper rooms were decorated with flags, balloons and coloured streamers and the fancy hats worn by all added to the gaiety of the scene. During the evening Mr. J. C. Whitney, on behalf of the firm, presented Aliss Leech with a silver entree dish and canteen of cutlery*, also a tea set, cut glass and kitchen ware from the staff. She was also the recipient of many other useful gifts. Among those present were: Aliss Granger, in black taffeta frilled skirt; AJrs.
