OTAHUHU PROGRESS

BUILDING ACTIVITY In keeping with the progressive spirit, shown in Otahnhu of late, another large block of buildings is being erected on the old public school property, at the junction of Great South Road and Station Road. Otahuhu. Mr. J. J. Punch, of Remuera, has let a contract for the erection of a nandsome building of two storeys, having a frontage of 85ft to the Great South Road. There will be six up-to-date shops, with living apartments in the new structure. Building operations have already commenced, and it is reported that some ui the shops have already been let. Notwithstanding the several protests which have been made against the establishment of a brewery or. the boundary of the Otahuhu Borough good progress is being made with the erection of the building. Some of the machinery is already on hand.
