COASTAL MOVEMENTS— Awahou sailed late last night for Hicks Bay, Tokomaru Bay and Gisborne. Apanui is sailing for Great Barrier Island at midnight tonight. She arrives back at 6 p.m. tomorrow. Canopus, Westport Coal Company’s collier, is loading at 'Westport today for Auckand. She is expected to arrive here about Monday next. Coronation arrived from Awanui this morning and is scheduled to sail on the return trip at noon on Saturday. She is at King’s Wharf. Kaimanawa is expected at Auckland early next week from Westport, via Wellington. Katoa is now due here tomorrow morning from Westport, via New Plymouth, and, after discharge, returns to the coal port to load again for this port. Kaiapoi is now scheduled to load at Greymouth on Friday for Auckland in place of the Kaponga. She is due here early next week.

Kaponga is to sail from Auckland .X 10 o’clock this evening for Portland, where she will load cement for Wellington and Lyttelton.

Kurow left Dunedin at 5 o’clock yesterday afternoon, via Timaru, Lyttelton and Wellington, for Auckland. Margaret W. unslipped this morning and berthed at King’s Wharf. At noon tomorrow she is to leave for Gisborne direct.

Pukeko should arrive back from the East Coast at the end of the week.

Pono is to be dispatched for Mangapai, Parua Bay, One Tree Point and Waipu at 3 p.m. today. Tiroa cleared port yesterday afternoon for Hicks, Tolaga and Tokomaru Bays, and Gisborne.

Waimea, which sailed last evening for Gisborne and Napier, returns to Auckland next Sunday.

Waipiata 'is now scheduled to leave Auckland on Friday on her return trip U> u Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and

Wingatui was to leave Dunedin at 11 o’clock last evening, via Timaru, Lvttelton and Napier, for Auckland. She is to clear Lyttelton on Saturday and should arrive here about Thursday next.
