ENGLISH F.A. TROPHY At a meeting bf the Control Board of the Auckland Football Association last night. Mr. A. Menzies presiding, the Wellington Association advised its acceptance of the Auckland Association's invitation to play another match for the Knglish trophy. The Wellington Association suggested that the game be played on September 14, but it was resolved to notify Wellington that September 21 would be a more suitable date. It was also decided to write to the Canterbury Association to see if it was prepared to challenge for the English trophy. , Following an investigation by the senior division committee, it was agreed to award the points in the OnehungaNorth Shore game last week to Xorth Shore owing to Onehunga playing two ineligible players.
