83 MINERS TRAPPED
FATE OF ALL BUT FOUR FEARED HOPELESS DISASTER IN JAPAN (Australian and JY.Z. Press Association) TOKYO, Monday. An explosion in the Hokkaido coalmine today resulted in S 3 miners being trapped underground. Four of the men were rescued, but the fate of the remainder is feared to be hopeless.
