Saturday was line, but the consistent j rain of the week deadened the fair- j ways and greens on the golf links in Auckland. At Aliddlemore the second round of the 36 holes net medal competition was played by members of the Auckland Golf j Club, and was won by W. Favitt, whose , net score for the two rounds was 144.
