Reid, of Hamilton, ; are staying at the Hotel Cargen. Among the guests at the Grand Hotel aro Mr. and Mrs. J. Wicksted and Mr. and Mrs. B. C. Watkins, of Gisborne. *f C Miss Ellen Bailey and Miss Alice Bailey, who have been visitors to Tirau, have returned to their home in Auckland Mr. and Mrs. Robert Burns, of Remuera, and their daughters, Mrs. J. E. Russell and Miss Elizabeth Burns, arrived in Sydney from England by the Orient liner Oronsay on Thursday last. Mrs. Russell booked by the TJlimaroa, which left Sydney on Friday, and will be here tomorrow morning. Mr. and Mrs. Burns will reach Auckland by the M a ram a on August 13.
