LILY DAMITA’S NEW ROLE
SUCCESSOR TO “WHAT PRICE GLORY”
Lily Damita, former idealised and idolised beauty of the French stage and screen, is gorgeous enough for any man to fight over and two lovers are going to fight over her for the next
few weeks. The two gentlemen in question are happily married, but it will make no difference for they are actors and they must play their roles. Victor SlcLaglen and Edmund Lowe, who battled witli ea<?h other through “ W hat Price Glory,” are at it again, although ten years have elapsed, and the filming of "The Cockeyed World,” the sequel to the unforgettable "What Price Glory,” has started -with Raoul Walsh again directing. During the vogue of ‘‘What Price Glory” there was more or less confusion and conjecture as to just what Lowe and McLaglen were saying to each other. There will be no doubt about it in “The Cockeyed World, ’ for it is a Fox Movietone production and one. will hear at well as see them.
