A MORNING WEDDING

GEORGETTE AND LACE FROCK CURRAN—MADDEN A very pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Wednesday morning, July 24. The Rev. Father Forde celebrated the nuptial mass, the bride being Miss Zita Madden, eldest daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. J. W. Madden, and the bridegroom, Mr. J. B. Curran, third son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Curran, of Te Aroha West. The bride entered the church on the arm of Mr. Hermann Pflster and was daintily frocked in ivory georgette and silk lace worn over white satin. Her hand-embroidered silk tulle veil was held in place with a coronet of orange blossom and a bouquet of cyclamen narcissi and maiden hair fern with ribbon and tulle streamers completed a very charming toilette. The bridesmaid. Miss Maria Madden, sister of the bride, chose powder blue crcpo de chine, with bouquet to tone. Mr. D. Cullen attended as best man. Mr. Hiscocks presided at the organ. The mother of the bride received the guests at her residence, Ponsonby, wearing black fleuri, relieved with coffee lace. Among the guests were the father of the groom, Mr. T. Curran, Mr. and Mrs. Hermann Pflster. Mrs Max Pflster,Mrs •T. Ayers and Miss Ayers, of Otahuhu, Mr. Cullen. Mrs. Branson, Miss McKenzie and Mr. Schuller.
