POST OFFICE SHELTER?
BENEFIT TO PASSENGERS The Works Committee of the City Council is to consider the question of a shelter for bus and tram passengers at the Post Office. The council last evening read a letter from the Transport Board, mentioning representations regarding the lack of a shelter. Many passengers waited in the vicinity, and the council was asked to give favourable consideration. Mr. J. Tyler, the acting city engineer, believed that the shelter would bo a great convenience. As far as the counc’’ was concerned, he saw no reason for not providing the shelter.
