GRANT FOR IMPROVEMENTS From Our Own Correspondent) TE KUITI, Thursday, c abinet haw approved of a substantial grant for alterations to the secondary department of the Te Kuiti District High School, also for furniture and ground improvements, according to information received by Mr. W. J. Broadfoot, M.P. for Waitomo. The grants are for the purpose of erecting two additional rooms and also teachers’ room at the High School, furniture is to be provided for the rooms recently opened and the additional ones, at a total cost of £3OO. A >.um c' £2OO has been granted for improvements to tho school grounds.
