MISSING MAGISTRATE

COURT DISLOCATION (From Our Own Correspondent) HAMILTON, Wednesday. The non-arrival of Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., at the Hamilton Magistrate’s Court this afternoon resulted in a good deal of confusion and cisorganisation, while a large body of litigants, witnesses and counsel,’had their afternoon wasted. Justices of the peace dealt with by-law cases in the morning session, but more serious cases were deferred until the afternoon, when the magistrate was expected, at 2 p.m. The court officers, after waiting over half an hour, attempted to get into telephonic communication at Auckland. where Mr. Wilson was supposed to be in the morning. Eventually the services of two justices were obtained, and the court commenced sitting at 3.15 p.m.
