OWNERS NOT WORRIED
THREATENED SHIP STRIKE MELBOURNE, Wednesday. The threatened strike in Victorian shipping is not worrying the owners, who declare that they intend to continue to exercise the right of free selection of crews. Mr. O. Neill, secretary of the Seamens Union, claims that the owners bad agreed with his organisation to give preference to its members.
