EARTHQUAKE IN SOUTH INVERCARGILL. Today, j A fairly sharp earthquake was felt at 1.45 this morning at Invercargill. No damage is reported. DUNEDIN. Today. A short, sharp earthquake shock was felt here at 1.45 a.m., and as far inland as Cromwell, where there was a distinct rumbling noise.
