DRUNKEN DRIVER FINED
Following a heavy’ bump into the back of a stationary' tramcar, a lorry driver, Joseph Hensley Edge, aged 41, appeared in the Wellington Police Court on Saturday on a charge of being drunk while in charge of a lorry. It appeared that a similar charge against him had been dismissed in April. The magistrate remarked that he had had his chance and fined him £lO. His driving licence was suspended for three months.
