GRAND AND LYRIC

“THE AIR CIRCUS” A film abounding in spectacular aerial views is now at the Grand and Lyric Theatres, in “The Air Circus.' Starring David Rollins. Arthur Lake and Sue Carol the film deals with the adventures of two young men who enter a flying school the Pacific Coast, with the intention of becoming commercial pilots. Buddy Blake, one of the pair, shows promise in ground work, but loses his nerve as soon as his plane leaves tinground. The other pupil, Speed Doolittle, is a natural flyer, and his immediate success wins the approval of Sue Manning, sister of the instructor, with whom both the young men are in love. The manner in which Buddy makes a difficult flight when his friend is in danger, and thus wins the love of Sue, makes a suitable conclusion u the film. “Name the Woman,” the second feature at both theatres, is an excitinp murder mystery type of story, starring Anita Stewart.
