COMPLAINTS AT CONFERENCE Press Association WELLINGTON. Today. The Dominion Farmers’ Union Conference had a discussion of the rural intermediate credits system. The complaint was made that the process is too slow, and that it is easier to get money from the local banks. There was too much delay in AYcllington. Other speakers*, however. said the scheme was working satisfactorily in their districts. After the statement that the Minister of Finance had given his assurance that applications would be expedited, it was decided to leave the question in the hands of the executive.
