MILLION INCREASE
GROWTH OF CANADA’S POPULATION LATEST CENSUS (Australian and N.Z. Press Association) (United Service) Reed. 9 a.m. OTTAWA, W^ed. Canada's population has increased by 1,000,000 during the past eight years, according to the latest census of the Dominion’s Bureau of Statistics. The census shows that the total population of Canada is now 9,796,000. which is an increase of 38,000 over the figures for 1928.
