THOUGHT TO BE A FLAG OR PALL used at the funeral of Potatau, first king of the Maoris, this historic relic has been lent to the War Memorial Museum by Archbishop Averill. It was sent to him as a present for the Church of England by the High Commissioner, Sir James Parr.
