HUNTINGDON AT LONDON. A cable message to the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the Huntingdon arrived at London last Friday from Auckland, on route to West Coast ports. The vessel sailed from Auckland on June 10. RUAHiNE FROM HOME.—With general cargo, mails, and | Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruahine arrived at Wellington at 7.50 a_m. yesterday from London and Southampton, via Panama. The vessel left Southampton on June 14. and for two days encountered strong head winds and high The weather then moderated, and remained favourable until nearing Pitcairn Island, when strong westerly winds were met with. After passing Pitcairn on July 12 the weather became steadily worse, and developed into a moderate gale. The weather showed but little sign of clearing until Tuesday, and her arrival at Wellington was consequently delayed. The Ruahine brought the following passengers:—First saloon—Rev. AI. The Ruahine is expected to leave Wellington on Alonday for Auckland, where she is due next "Wednesday to complete her discharge of inward cargo and to commence loading for her return voyage. Passengers by the vessel arrived at Auckland this morning, and baggage is leaving Wellilngton on Saturday by the KaiWarra.
